Join Golden Gate Lifeguard
Flexible extra shifts for certified high school and college-age lifeguards at private pool parties across Marin and the nearby Bay Area.
We’re building a local team of certified lifeguards for private pool parties — birthdays, family gatherings, HOA events, and vacation rentals. It’s a straightforward way for high school and college-age lifeguards to pick up extra time and extra income alongside school or another guarding job. Calm, safety-first work. You watch the water; hosts run the party.
We recruit from local community pools and local high schools — swim teams and lifeguard training pipelines. If that’s your path and your certifications are current, we’d like to hear from you.
What you’d do
Event-based shifts, not a full-time facility post. The safety standards stay clear, and the schedule can sit alongside school or other guarding.
- Provide professional water-zone supervision at private pool events
- Arrive prepared, complete a pre-event pool safety check, and keep rescue gear ready
- Follow clear event rules and stop-swim authority when conditions are unsafe
- Work flexible, event-based shifts (not a full-time facility post)
