A community pool does not move guest or property responsibility onto the lifeguard.
Standards are listed on Safety standards: current lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED credentials; pre-event check; rescue tube and first-aid kit; no phone use while guarding; stop-swim authority; coverage planned around the group and the pool. We can share certification and insurance details on request.
Whether the event is in a backyard or at an HOA pool, the host remains responsible for the property, guest behavior, supervision outside the water, alcohol, pets, and overall conditions. Parents and guardians remain responsible for their children outside the water. The board’s rules apply in addition to ours, not instead of them.
